Installing the Aegis Application

Instructions on how to download and install the Aegis application on Windows.

1. Download the Aegis installer for Windows from the link sent to you by Atomus.
2. Double click the downloaded installer to install the Aegis application. Once installed, Aegis will start automatically.
3. The first page will be the "Downloading Configurations" page. If a Microsoft Edge window opens:
   1. If you are prompted with a Microsoft login page, login to your Aegis account using the Microsoft username sent to you by Atomus.
   2. Click "Open" when asked if you would like to allow Edge to open the link in the Aegis application.
4. The next page will be the "Initializing Shields" page, if PowerShell asks to run as an administrator, click "Yes".
5. On the "Configuring Device" page, make sure all steps complete successfully, if they do the next page will load automatically.
   1. If any steps fail, try clicking "Retry". If they continue to fail, press "Skip" and open a ticket with Atomus using the link below.
6. On the final profile screen, make sure all sections have a green checkmark.
   1. If any sections show "Error", you can attempt to resolve them by clicking the circular refresh icon next to the section name. If they continue to show "Error", open a ticket with Atomus using the link below.
7. Make sure the compliance section shows all tests have passed.
   1. If any tests are failing, you can attempt you can re-run them by clicking the circular refresh icon next to the section name. If they continue to show "Error", open a ticket with Atomus using the link below.
